A Huge THANK YOU!!

Parents,
Thank you for all of your support this past month for the Festival of Trees. It was another HUGE success with our "Reindeer Games" tree selling for $2,900 to benefit Primary Children's Hospital! The children loved performing for you and the visitors at the Festival, and having the opportunity to see their decorations on our tree! We simply can't say THANK YOU enough for helping us continue this wonderful tradition of giving for 16 years now at Eaglecrest! We really do have the best parents and students!
Love,
The Second Grade Team

Farm Field Trip

The second grade classes are taking a fieldtrip to the FFA’s Farm Field Day this Friday, September 30th. We will be learning about different farm animals and eating healthy foods.
Because we will be outside, please be sure your child wears comfortable walking shoes and dresses appropriately for the weather. Students will arrive to school and leave at their regular "early bird" or "later gator" time.

Thank you, The Second Grade Team

New Spelling City Coming SOON!

Last week our school purchased a "Premier" Spelling City that lets us do more with our spelling lists and games. Our classes are getting set up with new accounts this week; along with individual pass codes that the kids will need to log on with. We will send those home as soon as we receive them! Thanks so much for being patient and we can't wait to see what this brings to our spelling practice!!

Back to School 2016!

Tomorrow is our first FUN Friday for 2nd grade. If your student has a yellow shirt, they may wear one to celebrate Lemon Day. If not, wear your school shirt or any other!

Homework and Spelling are starting next week, so be watching for information and folders coming home from your teacher. We are excited to have access to Spelling City for daily practice and games to help our students learn our week's spelling patterns. Click on the link to the right to access our second grade list.
